About the Play - This Neil Simon play has three separate acts set in the same hotel suite (Plaza Suite 719) in New York's Plaza Hotel.
In Act I, Sam and Karen Nash are revisiting their honeymoon suite as Karen tries to get her inattentive husband Sam to spruce up their failing marriage.
In Act II, brash film producer Jesse Kiplinger is revisiting his younger, more innocent days as he tries to get his former one-time flame Muriel, now a suburban housewife, to see him for what he stands for.
In the Third act, Roy Hubley (determined NOT to let his money go to waste) and his wife Norma try and try (and try!) to get their uncommunicative daughter out of the bathroom as the moment for her wedding arrives.
The main character roles in all three scenes are traditionally played by the same actors, but for our production we will be casting different actors to cover these six roles and using three different directors.
