A Note from Theatre Victoria’s Executive
Director
Welcome! to Theatre Victoria's 32nd year of
producing shows for Victoria and surrounding communities. We
begin my 3rd season as Executive Director, and our 4th year
as the resident company of the Leo J. Welder Center for the
Performing Arts.
We are very excited about our upcoming shows and anticipate
an outstanding season! In late July, we open with Andrew
Lloyd Weber's mega-hit musical, Joseph and the Amazing
Technicolor Dreamcoat. The Texas comedy, Dearly
Beloved, opens in September. In November, we return to
classic comedy, Arsenic and Old Lace. Chicago's
longest running musical Do Black Patent Leather Shoes
Really Reflect Up? is on the stage in February, and we
close the season in late April with the return of the hit
farce, Noises Off.
Theatre Victoria's School of Performing Arts kicks off the
2008-2009 season in June with the Triple Threat Theatre
Summer Camp presenting productions of Once on This
Island and A Year with Frog and Toad. The
Performance Academy will continue in the fall and spring
with acting, singing, and dancing classes for aspiring young
thespians.
We love to share experiences with our audiences in all our
endeavors. In February 2009, we are launching our 2nd annual
fund-raising activity and will cruise to the Western
Caribbean aboard one of Royal Caribbean's newest ships,
Voyager of the Seas. Theatre Victoria is changing lives and
this is a not-to-be-missed experience that will forever
change the way you vacation.
Thank you for your interest in Theatre Victoria. We are
truly looking forward to a successful 2008-2009 season with
you on board!
All the best,

Scott Mohon
Executive Director
