"Extremely entertaining... A play of great warmth and charm. Simon plays his characters as if he were playing poker and winning and we sit back and enjoy." N.Y. Post.

Meet the Hines family as they gather at their summer cabin. Burt Hines, a workaholic recovering from a recent heart attack, is looking forward to seeing his ex-wife. Burt, you see, is still in love with her. Josie, their daughter, has just broken her engagement to a very intense Harvard law student. She is suffering from unrequited love for her ex-fiancée’s best friend, Ray. Ray turns up at the cabin with a dim-witted model and a young Miami mobster (who knows what that is about?)

Holding everything together is Clemma, the Hines’s family housekeeper. Clemma is dreading a visit from her husband, who deserted her a long time ago. Clemma knows that her attraction to him is still strong and is still the wrong thing for her, but what can she do?
